Interior Minister Paula Risikko at Yle: 5 300 asylum seekers gone "missing".

About 5 300 asylum seekers have "disappeared" during asylum process and public eye since 2015, Interior Minister Paula Risikko reported on YLE's morning TV on Thursday. Disappearance means that a person has left the reception center during processing of his application and it is unknown if the person has left the country. (Uusi Suomi)

 

Police is still seeking for Birgitta, who disappeared two years ago.

Birgitta Silander, hairdresser age 65, disappeared two years ago in Helsinki. She was on her way to work to a meeting, but never arrived. Police doesn't suspect crime to be involved, but are still looking for hints and information of her location. Every third unemployed  person living in Espoo is highly educated.

The amount of unemployment has decreased in Espoo in the past year, but the amount of highly educated jobseekers has stayed relatively high in entire Uusimaa area, and especially in Espoo. Largest group of unemployed professionals are marketing and advertising specialists. (Länsiväylä)
