Pilots of medical helicopters concerned about camera drones

Pilots of helicopters used in medical evacuations are concerned about potential dangerous situations from the increasing use of camera drones.
Finnhems, which operates medical helicopters say that pilots are increasingly seeing airborne light camera drones in their work and note that in unskilled hands, the drones could cause an accident. The most recent near collision came in Pirkkala near Tampere on Sunday when a medical copter unexpectedly encountered a drone at an altitude of more than 400 metres. The drone came within about 50 metres of the helicopter.
