After another successful and sold out festival that saw 75 000 festival goers dancing on the rhythms of talented domestic artists such as Satellite Stories, Reino Nordin, and Antti Salonen and international performers such as Lana Del Rey, BadBadNotGood or Moderat, Flow 2017 has once again accomplished its mission to surprise the audience!
Located in the heart of Helsinki, Flow is not only a multi-genre music festival, but also a melting pot of art installations, cultural happenings and of course delicious food stands with an amazing wide range of cuisines: American, Fusion style, Nordic foods, spicy foods, desserts,… you name it!
With this year’s new layout, festival goers had a chance the stroll smoothly around the area and amongst the several stages whether made for thousands of people or then for a rather more smaller audience.
Talking about Flow 2017 means also that we have to talk about Saturday’s severe thunderstorm that hit Southern Finland with winds reaching 32m/s, which meant that some programmes had to be cut short or cancelled, but that did not stop the festival goers to enjoy the rest of their evening later on.
Flow 2018 is already on the make so take your calendar out for next year’s edition, that will take place on August 10-12 at the Suvilahti area.
